Luffy

After the two-year time skip, some notable changes are evident in Luffy’s appearance. He has experienced a slight increase in height and a significant gain in muscle mass, a result of his rigorous training regimen. This transformation is evident in his more robust neck, well-defined deltoids, and a chest bearing an X-shaped scar, a memento from his encounter with then-Admiral Akainu.

His customary attire largely resembles what it was prior to the time skip. However, instead of a vest, Luffy now sports an open, long-sleeved red cardigan fastened with four buttons. Additionally, he ties a yellow sash around his waist, reminiscent of Gol D. Roger’s attire.

With Luffy’s growing notoriety and the heightened strength of his adversaries, he increasingly adopts disguises to conceal his identity. These disguises vary in sophistication. Despite this, he steadfastly retains his iconic straw hat, occasionally opting to conceal it with other headwear.

During the Punk Hazard Arc, Luffy donned a lengthy winter coat adorned with red and white horizontal stripes, complemented by yellow earmuffs borrowed from one of Brownbeard’s Centaur Patrol Unit members.

In the Dressrosa Arc, faced with the necessity of concealing his identity in Doflamingo’s territory, Luffy opted for an open, short-sleeved shirt featuring a sunflower pattern. He paired this with standard blue shorts, a yellow sash, and a black bowler hat atop his straw hat. He even sported a fake beard. When entering the Mera Mera no Mi tournament in the Corrida Colosseum, he adorned Viking-style armor, complete with a sword and shield. Although he eventually shed most of the armor to meet the tournament’s weight restriction, he retained the cape and helmet, with his registration number ‘0556’ and the moniker “Lucy” written on the back of his shirt, partially obscured by the cape. Following his battle against Doflamingo, Luffy opted for a red tank top paired with his customary brown (dark grey in the anime) shorts.

In the Whole Cake Island Arc, Luffy opted for an ornate white cardigan with billowy sleeves in conjunction with his standard red shorts. He initially added a decorative scarf to his straw hat upon arriving at the Seducing Woods, though it appears to have been lost during his clash with Charlotte Cracker. This outfit endured various battles and was ultimately torn to shreds. Subsequently, Luffy adopted a new ensemble for his meeting with Capone Bege, consisting of a red suit jacket, a brown shirt, and a pink ascot, paired with red formal shorts. He also affixed a black fedora atop his straw hat.

During his skirmish with Sanji, Luffy sustained the loss of one of his upper teeth after absorbing a direct blow from a Diable Jambe Joue Shot. Remarkably, the tooth regenerated after he consumed a bottle of milk.
